from 10 reviewsKeshes Outdoors did a great job filling my order. I will be purchasing products from them in the future.
got the 35 lb limbs to practice with and they are just what we needed
Great ship speed and limb quality !
I recently purchased a compound bow and needed some arrows to accompany it. I matched my draw length with the arrow length and settled on these. They performed well, I was able to shoot very consistently even with shooting about 100 times down range. The only issue I have is that since the tips are removable if you have a dense target such as I, you may find them loose after shooting them a few times. I fixed this issue with some superglue, but that is the only downside I have found. If you are looking for decent arrows to practice with, I would recommend these.
I am just a backyard target shooter. These arrows are good for that. I replaced the tips with soft tips as my backyard is not huge. They have stood up to a 40 lbs recurved bow at relatively close range against my shed. The only issue I have is a personal issue. My arrows bounce back and sometimes the notch is damaged.
If you like a heavier arrow that is pretty robust these do the trick... i grabbed some to try for practice, but yeah very heavy compared to the different carbon arrows i use, went to ACCMOS for practice arrows they are very comparable to my gold tip hunter xt arrows so my adjustment is minimal.... if you're shooting traditional or recurve with a heavier arrow you might be closer to these as a practice arrow in weight..... average weight out of the box was pretty consistent 534grains at 31" compared to the accmos at 352grains or the hunter xt at 345grains mind you they are with AAE Max vanes , and cut to 28".... so doing that to one of these cut to 28" fletched with AAE Max vanes and 100grain field points they are 499.2grains .... also note these are some kinda blend, not pure carbon fiber they don't feel like carbon, break like carbon, nor do they cut like carbon, but they do seem more robust, if nothing else... weights are consistent within 3-4grains of each other, and once you adjust for the drop due to weight difference, tight groupings are very comparable, just don't forget when you use a lighter arrow, or you may hit a ways above the intended target....
For the $30 price tag, firing from a 30-35 pound longbow, this set of 12 carbon arrows is well-worth it. The spines stood up to hours of continuous firing at foam targets, aluminum cans, and the occasional tree. An excellent cherry-on-top is that these arrows come not only with pre-fitted inserts, but also with field-point practice heads! A set of field-points & inserts together might run you an additional $20, but not here!
How could these be 5 stars you ask? If the threads of the inserts were given a nice adhesive to keep the field-points cemented in. These are the kind of arrows you're going to use for target practice, not actual hunting, and because of that you shouldn't worry about swapping out the field-points for different arrowheads. The inserts themselves could probably be given the smallest dabs of industrial-strength adhesive to cement them into the shafts just the same.
